Collecting Light

I didn’t watch the whole documentary. After a few episodes it was too painful. I kept wanting to scream at Pam. It took me so long to do so many important things. It’s just hard to accept that I spent so many years being less happy than I could have been. Jim was five feet from my desk and it took me four years to get to him. It would be great if people saw this documentary and learned from my mistakes. Not that I’m a tragic person, I’m really happy now; but it would just make my heart soar if someone out there saw this and she said to herself ‘Be strong, trust yourself, love yourself, conquer your fears, just go after what you want and act fast because life just isn’t that long.’

last summer jordan and i did an office au and hika was not pam but. i saw a lot of her in pam in tonight’s finale. and it’s totally separate from jim and the kids or anything like that but she gives this speech in one of her last talking heads that’ll i’ll reblog when there’s a gif set but she just discusses how she hopes that more than anything she could help someone who was stagnant and timid and scared to go after their own happiness 

and that just reminded me a lot of her. they’ve had very similar character progression from going to meek characters who kind of stayed in these situations that made them unhappy because they didn’t know how to make the first step towards their happiness and were too scared to but then they eventually just gain this real self confidence and respect and pursue the things that make them happy and yeah

i think a lot about hika’s nonexistent kids. i know she would totally be okay adopting if she never finds anyone that she wants to settle down with, but i see her with a set of twins and then a daughter

the twins would both be boys, rowdy and rambunctious. they’d get into trouble together all of the time as children and have that weird twin telepathy.

the daughter would be three years younger and adorable and so freaking cute i can just picture her as a baby and nfjkwlnfkjwnjakfw

hika’s apartment (when she moves out) is basically impeccable. she’s not as much of a neat freak as ruri, but she doesn’t like messes. everything is organized.

my favorite thing about her apartment is that in her kitchen she has half of a wall painted with chalkboard paint and people always write on it and it’s really super cool

i think her sofa is a really cool shade of green too i’m really into it

her apartment color scheme is black, white, red, and green and wow i can picture everything so perfectly in my head i’m going to cry i want her apartment

OH i remember what i wanted to post about earlier

at some point, hika gets a secretary and opens up an intern program at the league for college kids!!! i want to headcanon about her secretary later, but everyone gets an intern (hika keeps a very watchful eye on all of them— she doesnt want any lawsuits)

it actually is hika’s romantic dream that a boy she’s romantically involved with calls her khaleesi it’s the second surest way to her heart; the first being giving her a growlithe

there’s a small part of her that clings to something after the reunion, and it’s driving both of us insane
